Local developer, Adlington, has begun work on its new £11m luxury retirement development on Eccleshall Road in Stafford, which will consist of 55 superbly appointed one, two and three bedroom apartments, along with elegant communal spaces, exclusively for the over 65s.

The new Brooklands House development will be delivered on spacious, leafy grounds overlooking the beautiful Doxey Marshes Nature Reserve and will be opening its Marketing Suite in the spring, with a selection of exquisite show apartments available to view in the autumn. Delivering independent living with tailored 24-hour on site care and support for homeowners, should it ever be needed, Adlington’s apartments are carefully designed with safety and security in mind, and an exceptional quality of materials and finishes is delivered throughout. Homeowners will enjoy generous living and dining spaces, fully-fitted quality kitchens and a balcony or patio to their apartment, as well as use of a spa suite offering a variety of relaxing treatments. There will be a table-service restaurant offering a tempting deli menu, breakfasts and a three-course lunch daily, a hairdressing salon, sociable lounge area, as well as an activities and crafts room for everything from gentle exercise to art classes.

Claire Reede, Sales and Marketing Manager from Adlington, says: “We are very excited that work has now begun on our new site in Stafford and are excited to see it progress, with Brooklands House taking shape over the coming months. The development will provide stunning apartments in a beautiful location overlooking the beautiful Doxey Marshes and within easy reach of a good selection of local shops. We’d encourage anyone wanting to know more about our new apartments to come along to our Information Day on 6th April where there will be the opportunity to speak with experts on helping you move, our on site caterers plus our partner and care provider, Methodist Homes – there really isn’t a better way to understand everything that Adlington has to offer.”

Mayor Geoffrey Collier commented: “It’s fantastic to see a development like this in Stafford and I do hope it will provide a great experience for the many people and their families that can benefit from retirement living like this. Stafford has a wonderful community and I’m really looking forward to seeing Brooklands House become a new addition to it.”
