Whathouse? Gold award winning developer, Adlington, reached new heights last week as a towering 27 meter high crane arrived at The Folds; their most recent development of 50 luxury retirement apartments, situated on School Brow, Romiley.
The crane took one day to erect, is designed to lift a staggering two tonnes at 45m out and will be in ‘free slew’ to meet safety requirements. To assist in the construction of the one, two and three bedroomed apartments exclusively for those over the age of 60, the crane will be in situ until spring 2020 when The Folds is set to complete.
