The sales team at Adlington’s £12m independent retirement development in Urmston is celebrating success this week, after being named as the best-selling site in the company’s ten-year history.

Having only opened its doors in mid-December, the Moorside Road-based development has achieved a staggering 80% reservation rate in just 4 months, which the company believes is testament to the broad appeal of independent retirement living in and around Greater Manchester.

Dale Johnson, Sales Advisor says: “We are so pleased that the development has been named as a top-selling site and we have very much enjoyed bringing the Adlington product to Urmston home buyers.

“We always knew that there was a great deal of demand in the town for a new independent retirement facility but to have sold so many within such a short time is a new record for Adlington which has developments in other UK locations.

“The 24-hour on-site care option, provided by our partner MHA (Methodist Homes) has been a big selling point for many of our homeowners, and because the company has been providing care and support for more than 70 years, it’s a trusted charity who provide a care service that people can use when it’s most needed.

“With just 11 apartments now remaining, we would urge those who are looking for an easier way of life to get in touch and come and visit us soon.”

Adlington House offers a choice of one, two and three-bedroom superbly-appointed apartments, with spacious living and dining areas as well as a fully-fitted and modern kitchen. There is also a table-service restaurant which offers breakfast and three course lunch daily, a hairdressing salon, spa room and lounge, all of which help to make residents’ lives.

Security is of paramount importance at Adlington and an emergency call system and security video entry comes as standard in all apartments.
