Our dedicated resales service, Adlington Estates, has proven so successful in its first eighteen months that the team is now expanding to meet demand.
Adlington Estates was established to support homeowners and their families wishing to sell an Adlington Retirement Living apartment. Having marketed its first apartment in April 2023, Adlington Estates has completed 11 sales, with a further 19 apartments sold subject to contract. Across these 30 apartments, on average, 97% of the asking price has been achieved and the value of the apartment has increased by 6.23%.
Adlington Estates customers have their properties marketed on this website, as well as general property portals such as Rightmove. Viewings are managed by the dedicated team, who understand life at an Adlington community and are best placed to introduce potential buyers to the benefits of retirement living.
An Adlington Estates customer who sold their late father’s apartment at The Cottons in Ramsbottom, said: “They gave us great advice about how to market the apartment, including all the unique features and services available at The Cottons. As a member of the Adlington team, Tim has an insider’s insight into the experience of living at The Cottons and promoting all its positive aspects for older adults. We also found him to be sympathetic to the situation we found ourselves in after the sudden passing of our father.”
Another customer, who sold her late mother-in-law’s apartment at The Bridges in Macclesfield, said: “Having expert knowledge of retirement communities and personal knowledge of The Bridges staff, Tim was ideally positioned to secure a quick sale for us at a very good price and his in-depth knowledge was a reassurance to both us and prospective buyers. It made what could have been a very difficult situation very straightforward.”
In April 2024 Adlington Estates recruited a sales negotiator, now the team is looking to expand again by recruiting another sales negotiator and a property consultant.
