Adlington continues its dedication to support talent in the construction industry with the appointment of two new graduates, along with an experienced Development Engineer, to contribute to its seven new developments planned throughout the North West and Staffordshire over the coming year. With 182,000 construction jobs across various sectors in need of filling by 20181, Adlington is recruiting from the millennial workforce to bolster its team and continue the development of those in the early stages of their career.

Representing Adlington’s commitment to encourage new talent into the construction industry, graduates Glynn Fort and Laurence Chipperton join the team as Junior Architectural Technologist and Land Buyer respectively.

After beginning his career in construction as an apprentice bricklayer, Glynn furthered his training and graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a degree in Architectural Technology before taking up his post with Adlington. Laurence, a post-graduate in Planning and Development from Nottingham Trent University, joins the team from a Graduate Surveyor role at Harrow Estates.

Joining from a Senior Structural Engineer position at Arup, Hunter Lyden has been appointed as Development Engineer and will be managing the technical aspect of future developments, such as land and building structures. Hunter brings almost a decade of experience in managing the structural design of commercial and residential buildings, as well as being the former chairman of the Institute of Structural Engineers in Lancashire.

Hunter commented: “This is a fantastic time to join Adlington as it expands rapidly this year, with huge investment and seven new sites in development. I’m really looking forward to bringing my experience and skills to Adlington at this exciting time for the business.”

Laurence said: “Adlington has a great reputation for delivering quality projects and I am really pleased to develop my career here and be a part of the team.”

Glynn added: “It’s really exciting to put into practice what I have learnt at university and by working with the planning and architectural experts at Adlington I am sure I’ll develop my skills further.”

Claire Reede, Sales and Marketing Manager at Adlington commented:

“We’re really thrilled to have Glynn, Laurence and Hunter join our team and it’s key that we are able to mix new skills and talent with the experience of our specialists to create a strong, well-rounded team to drive Adlington forward. We welcome them all and are very excited to have them on board.”

Adlington’s developments all offer tailored 24-hour on site care and support for homeowners, should it ever be needed, and are carefully designed with safety and security in mind. Homeowners enjoy generous living and dining spaces, fully-fitted, quality kitchens and a balcony or patio to their apartment, as well as use of a spa suite offering a variety of relaxing treatments. A table-service restaurant, hairdressing salon, sociable lounge area and an activities and crafts room are available for residents to enjoy.
