The Newells Celebrates Its One-year Anniversary
Homeowners at The Newells celebrate the community’s one-year anniversary. Since opening...
2018 is already set to be an exciting year for several new homeowners at Adlington House, Moorside Road, Urmston. They took the step into retirement living in the run up to Christmas, when the development first opened its doors, and many more are following in their footsteps over the coming months – testament to Adlington’s service designed to support purchasers.
Although packing up the family home and downsizing is understandably both daunting and emotional, Adlington’s Personal Clerk service is designed with the purchaser in mind. Each person embarking on their retirement living adventure is assigned their very own assistant who will help answer any questions, alongside organising de-cluttering, packing and removal of items, assistance with changing utilities and registering with health professionals to name just a few.
On move in day you’ll even be treated to a meal in the on site restaurant, as well as a lunch voucher for you and your friends to use once you’re comfortable in your new home.
One of the purchasers is Mrs Furness who, moved to Adlington House on 16th December 2017 – and has never looked back – she explains: “I feel really settled and happy; where I was before, the pavements were dreadful, and I stayed in most of the time. I get to do more exercise here which is great, and I have lots more to do: go to the restaurant, and then have a coffee with my new neighbours.”
The Collier brothers also took the decision to move in on 13th December 2017, they said: “We like our apartment, we are impressed with it. Our previous house needed lots of care and attention, so we decided to get a new apartment! Adlington House has great public transport links and we go to the restaurant here three or four times a week.”
Like Mrs Furness and the Collier brothers, many homeowners at Adlington House enter 2018 living in a brand new energy-efficient home, with friends and neighbours close at hand. Peace of mind is also assured with 24-hour care and support available from on-site care professionals MHA (Methodist Homes), should they need it. Not to mention the well-appointed communal lounge, table service restaurant, spa suite, hair salon and activities room, all without even stepping outside.
Prices start from just £104,250, to make sure you don’t miss out visit the show apartments open between 10am and 5pm daily, situated on Moorside Road, Urmston. Alternatively, for further information please call 0161 747 8256.
