The Newells Celebrates Its One-year Anniversary
Homeowners at The Newells celebrate the community’s one-year anniversary. Since opening...
Our latest community in Menston is now fully open and we are excited to be welcoming our first homeowners to The Spindles. Our General Manager Carla Barnes and her team are ready to provide an outstanding service. There’s a real buzz about the place.
The retirement community offers new friendships, social occasions, and activities that homeowners can dip into whenever the mood takes them. When they want to spend some quiet time in their own company, they have a beautiful, self-contained apartment where they can relax.
Joan and Bill, homeowners at another Adlington Retirement Living community, said: “The best bits about living here are you’ve got people on hand. You can have your privacy. You have your own apartment. You can stay there whenever you want to, but you also have the alternative. I think having that choice is such a big thing and you can have one choice one day and the other choice the next day. It’s a perfect situation.”
Alexandra Johnson, Sales and Marketing Director at Adlington Retirement Living, said: “Since our marketing suite opened in the autumn, we’ve been inundated with enquiries from potential homeowners booking a tour of The Spindles. In fact, 20% of the apartments have now sold, with 10 of our new homeowners having moved in already and six more set to move in this month.”
The communal facilities include a coffee lounge, which is the perfect spot to catch up with friends and neighbours, or to meet for pre-lunch drinks before heading to the restaurant. It also houses a beautiful bar so homeowners can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with friends in the evening.
In addition to the coffee lounge, restaurant and homeowners’ lounge, the communal facilities at The Spindles also include a hair salon, therapy suite, activities studio and cinema room, as well as a guest suite with en-suite for visiting friends and family who wish to stay overnight.
The 24-hour on-site support team provides homeowners with peace of mind and, if needed, optional personal care packages are available. In addition to this, there is a sophisticated emergency call system and a security video entry system to manage access.
All apartments include quality, fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances. Many feature en-suite shower rooms as well as separate bathrooms, and most have a private patio area or walk-out balconies overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens.
