The Newells Celebrates Its One-year Anniversary
Homeowners at The Newells celebrate the community’s one-year anniversary. Since opening...
This week, William Wragg MP visited the new Adlington Retirement Living development of 50 luxury apartments situated next to the Peak Forest Canal, on School Brow in Romiley.
The MP received an exclusive tour of the new show apartments, Homeowners’ lounge, restaurant and hairdressing salon, which are now open to view daily between 10am and 5pm.
William Wragg said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of The Folds today. It’s amazing to see the transformation from the building site I visited last year. The restaurant, lounge and gardens are really impressive and you can see the new development will have a real sense of community. The apartments themselves are wonderful and a lot of attention has gone into the design and accessibility. This retirement community will be a welcome addition to the local area.”
Ed Gladman, Managing Director of Adlington Retirement Living, said: “We were very pleased to welcome William for a tour of our show apartments and to have a look around the new development. Each apartment has been designed to make everyday life easier, safer and more comfortable. Every detail has been considered from the layout to the spacious storage cupboards and private patios or balconies.
“We pride ourselves on offering our Homeowners a fresh approach to independent living, where they don’t have to compromise on their lifestyle, their social life or their independence. We want our Homeowners to enjoy every moment of their retirement.”
The Folds offers Romiley residents the best of both worlds. Homeowners can enjoy the privacy of their own peaceful and spacious apartment, spend time in the leafy gardens (which will be maintained by an expert team of gardeners), relax in the hairdressing salon, therapy suite or Homeowners’ lounge and then invite their friends over to enjoy the table service restaurant, without having to think about cooking or washing up.
Ed Gladman adds: “Moving into an Adlington Retirement Living apartment is far more than just moving into a new home. It’s a chance to become part of a thriving community of like-minded people, with a shared outlook. Our communities provide a safe, secure and happy environment with a circle of friends, a family of like-minded people and a sense of belonging.”
Tailored care is available as and when it is needed, for as long as it’s needed and a 24 hour emergency call system is linked to a dedicated on-site support team, 365 days a year.
