What’s in your attic?

Last week we welcomed auctioneer and valuation expert Gary Don to our retirement communities in Romiley and Southport.

As seen on the BBC’s Flog it and Channel 4’s Posh Pawn Brokers, Gary entertained with stories about his finds over the years. Many guests brought along items to be valued ranging from watches and jewellery to pottery and paintings.

Gary Don said: “It was wonderful to meet so many interesting guests this week. The antique items that visitors brought along were absolutely fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing anecdotes from my experience in the antiques world too, both in front of the TV cameras and behind the scenes, over the years.

The event was also attended by moving experts, Michelle from The Senior Move Partnership and Andrew and Joe from PX Partnership as they unpacked their advice on downsizing and answered questions for anybody considering de-cluttering or moving home.
