Crane comes down and show apartments bustle at Stafford

Some might say that Adlington’s towering crane of 55 metres has put Stafford on the map these past few months, with it being seen all the way from the M6, but it is set to come down on the 19th December as Adlington’s 55 luxury retirement apartments draw closer to completion.

The Wolffkran Luffing crane, that took another mighty crane to place it on site, is one of the biggest on the market and was transferred all the way from near to Borough Market, London.  The site manager commented: “having such a large piece of apparatus has really proven invaluable, lifting up to six tonnes of material and with a 27 metre cab shaft being climbed up to six times a day by the driver; it’s been monumental in our development.  The only thing that now remains is to introduce another crane to remove this amazing piece of kit.”

Amongst all the action, prospective purchasers are also welcomed to visit Adlington’s newly opened show apartments and join them in some festive cheer with complimentary mince pies; but people are urged to act quick as over 75 per cent of the apartments have been reserved to date!

Overlooking the leafy Doxey Marshes Nature Reserve, and ideally located a short distance from Stafford town centre it is clear to see why people are eager to snap up a Brooklands House apartment.  Designed specifically for the over 65s, each apartment will exude pure opulence, from the high-spec fully fitted kitchens, to the generous living areas, and many with a balcony or patio providing that much sought-after outside space to enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens and that all-important view.

The on site facilities planned for the Eccleshall Road site are also second to none, offering a table service restaurant, hairdressing salon, an assisted spa suite and a guest suite for when friends and family wish to stay.

As with all Adlington’s developments; homeowners can choose whether to enjoy the lavish surroundings of their own private apartment, or get involved in the community immediately on their doorstep, which has been further facilitated by the many social hubs included in the Brooklands House design with an elegant homeowners’ lounge serving free tea and coffee each day or the handy on site arts and crafts suite.

For that added peace of mind homeowners also have the option of 24-hour on site care, should they need it, from MHA (Methodist Homes) a trusted provider for over 70 years, and the complex will include a sophisticated emergency call facility, which operates throughout the building, plus a security video entry system.

Furthermore, knowing that Adlington have recently won the Gold Award for Best Retirement Development at The WhatHouse? Awards 2017 – UK housebuilding’s most prestigious event – purchasers can be assured of the thoughtful design and quality finishes that an Adlington apartment provides.

Prices start from £105,000. For any enquiries please visit our show apartments which are open between 10am and 5pm daily, situated on Eccleshall Road, Stafford.  Alternatively, for further information please call 01785 249 175, or by email enquiries@adlington.co.uk.
