Adlington Retirement Living secures investment from...
Adlington Retirement Living has secured a £75m development facility from NatWest...
Stafford residents looking to downsize yet retain their independence will be able to with ease, as the town will soon play host to a brand new development of luxury independent living apartments from specialist developer, Adlington.
With some exceptional views overlooking the Doxey Marshes Nature Reserve and due for completion during February 2018, the £11m Brooklands House development, is currently being built on Eccleshall Road and will feature 55 – one, two and three-bedroom apartments for those aged over 65.
Each of the spacious private apartments will include generous living and dining areas, with modern, fully-fitted kitchens. Many feature en-suite shower rooms and separate bathrooms and most have walk on balconies or a patio area overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens. There will be a sophisticated emergency call system and security video entry for added peace of mind.
In addition, the building will host a table service restaurant, which will offer breakfast and lunch daily, a hairdressing salon, assisted spa and therapy room, activities room, guest suite and elegant homeowners’ lounge. The Brooklands House development is quickly taking shape and a number of off-plan reservations have already been taken from eager purchasers.
Claire Reede Marketing Manager for Adlington comments: “Having never had a presence in the area before, we’re delighted to be in Stafford and gaining such positive feedback already. Our development is unique in the fact that we offer everything under one roof yet we encourage and promote independent living as much as possible”.
On site care
Adlington’s real point of difference, however, has to be the 24-hour on site care and support option if it is ever needed which is provided by the company’s partner MHA (Methodist Homes) who have been providing care and support for more than 70 years.
In recognition that care requirements may vary in the future, the level of support can also be varied to meet all needs, as circumstances change. From help with cleaning and shopping to more specialist care, a wide range of support is always available.
Claire continues: “Being able to provide optional and flexible care provides our homeowners and their families with immediate peace of mind and whether it’s needed now or in the future, it is cited as one of the key reasons why so many people choose to invest in an Adlington apartment.”
Life of independence
“Moving into a luxury apartment and living a life of independence can offer a new chapter and a fresh start; a huge factor in the decision making. Having a ready-made and supportive community on the doorstep provides a safe and secure home and helps to eliminate loneliness.”
“Our exclusive and complimentary personal clerk service makes the moving process easier, ranging from help with liaising with estate agents and removal companies to organising a decluttering service. We also offer a part-exchange service if the thought of putting your house on the market is too much. Our 8-hour handyman offering is a further commitment from us to assist new homeowners to settle in quickly and easily.”
“I would urge those looking to move into a low-maintenance, energy efficient home to visit our Marketing Suite at Brooklands House while there are still properties available.”
