Cheadle retirement community is sell-out success

Adlington Retirement Living’s retirement community in Cheadle has sold all 48 luxury apartments.

Located in a quiet residential road in the heart of Cheadle Village, The Chimes offers homeowners a welcoming apartment community where they can set their own timetable, explore the town and enjoy life free from worry and compromise.

According to the latest Great British Retirement Index, Stockport is amongst the top ten places to retire in the UK, and as The Chimes sells-out, Adlington Retirement Living has recently opened two more retirement communities in the area – The Woodlands in Heaton Mersey and The Folds in Romiley.

Joan, who moved to The Chimes with her husband Bill in December 2019 said: “The best bits about living here are you’ve got people on hand. You can have your privacy. You have your own apartment. You can stay there whenever you want to and you can be on your own… but you also have the alternative if you want it. You’ve got lots of people around, lots of activities, lots of fun. I think having that choice is such a big thing and you can have one choice one day and the other choice the next day. It’s a perfect situation. I can highly recommend it!”
