The Newells Celebrates Its One-year Anniversary
Homeowners at The Newells celebrate the community’s one-year anniversary. Since opening...
On Friday 28th June, William Wragg MP visited the construction site for The Folds, a brand-new Adlington Retirement Living development of 50 stylish age-exclusive apartments situated next to the Peak Forest Canal, on School Brow in Romiley.
The MP donned hard hat and high viz jacket to help lay a brick and view plans with Adlington Retirement Living Managing Director Ed Gladman and Site Manager Wayne Green.
William Wragg said:
“I was delighted to visit the site of The Folds, an independent living complex in Romiley. This will allow senior citizens to maintain their independence and will have a real sense of community. This will be a welcome addition to the local area and I look forward to returning when the project is completed.”
Ed Gladman, Managing Director of Adlington Retirement Living added “I was very pleased to welcome William to our latest development to view our progress with construction. Adlington’s vision is to empower our older generation to live a long, happy and healthy life. By creating safe and secure environments – with active communities, extensive facilities, and spacious, quality homes – providing a new opportunity to enjoy retirement with a new perspective.
The Folds, an Adlington Retirement Living development specially designed for those over the age of 60, is currently under construction and on schedule to take off plan reservations from the autumn. All apartments include quality fitted kitchens with integrated appliances and many feature en-suite shower rooms and separate bathrooms. For that all-important outside space, most will have walk-on balconies or a patio area overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens; not to mention the views over the canal and beyond.
In addition, there will be a hairdressing salon, therapy room, activities studio, plus a guest suite equipped with a kitchenette and en-suite for visiting friends and family.
One of the key reasons for those purchasing an Adlington apartment is that it provides added peace of mind with round the clock, 24-hour on-site support and, if needed, the option of tailored care. In addition to this, there is a sophisticated emergency call system as well as a security video entry so access is only allowed to those know and trusted.
